New Associate Attorney

Joseph Schauf has joined Lynch Dallas Legal in Cedar Rapids as an Associate Attorney. Joseph’s practice focuses on municipal law, employment law, and insurance defense. He represents municipal clients in matters involving code enforcement, ordinance review and drafting, land use and zoning, real estate, contracts, nuisance abatement, and litigation defense.
Joseph earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2026, where he served as a Contributing Editor for The Journal of Corporation Law and was twice awarded the Jurisprudence Award for Academic Excellence. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2023.
