IPIB Training for Newly Elected and Appointed Officials
Overview
As required under H.F. 706, the Iowa Public Information Board (IPIB) offers training for all newly elected and appointed public officials. This training ensures compliance and promotes transparency in public service. Lynch Dallas Legal is currently offering virtual training sessions.
Cost
Public officials may request a live, in-person or virtual training. For specially scheduled live, in-person trainings, the registration cost will be quoted upon request and will equal two hours at the standard hourly rate of the attorney conducting the training, plus the IRS standard mileage rate for in-person training locations outside the Cedar Rapids metro area.
