Matthew G. McQuillen

Mr. McQuillen represents businesses, business owners, farmers and their families, and individuals. He regularly provides estate and wealth transfer planning advice, and works with tax planning, wills, trusts, probate law, real estate law, general business and corporate law and agricultural law. He is very active in many community groups on many levels including community planning, conservation, and philanthropy.

Real Estate Mr. McQuillen works with clients in agriculture, business, and personally, in various aspects of real estate transactions and planning, including 1031 like-kind exchanges.

Probate and Estate Planning Mr. McQuillen works with clients in agriculture, business, and personally to properly structure their estate plans in order to accomplish their estate planning and succession goals and objectives in an efficient and tax effective manner. Mr. McQuillen also guides clients through the procedures relating to the administration of estates and trusts, including fiduciary (estate and trust) income tax, Iowa inheritance tax and federal estate tax planning.

Business and Corporate Mr. McQuillen works regularly with business and corporate matters, including working with clients on entity selection and establishment and business succession planning.
